Sudbourne is a charming and quaint village on the Suffolk Coast, and the home of a host of artists and creatives, specifically in the old site of Sudbourne Park. Thus this abstract and whimsical print, forged at a friend's ceramics workshop became "Sudbourne".

All Bags are lined with either printed cotton or a waterproof lining- make your choice when you order. I like to use “surprise lining” which means I choose the lining at random from my extensive collection of fabrics. If you would like to see the lining before you buy, please ask in the order comments and I’ll send you a picture.

Lovely Lydia designs are rooted in the wildlife and landscape of the Suffolk Coast. The Hedgerow Collection reflects the joys of the fields and the wildness in their margins and the forests beyond. The Coastal Collection revels in the beasts and beauty of the sea and the places where the salt water and land collide. There are also whimsical pieces inspired by travels and abstract designs whose inspiration may come from anywhere!
Lovely Lydia prints using water-based fabric paints on natural fabrics as far as possible including cotton and linen. We do not use any animal products such as wool or leather. All materials are sourced from suppliers within the UK and where possible, sourced from local Suffolk suppliers. Our packaging is plastic-free and fully recyclable.
