I’m Lydia, a fabric printer, linocut artist and maker rooted in the Suffolk Coast and Country where I live. My creations abound with the wild creatures of our fields and forests, of our rivers, marshes and beaches .. hares, bees and foxes, seedheads and hedgerows, lobsters crabs and seaweed.

I handprint to fabric using woodcut and linocut blocks as my favourite medium to bring art to the everyday. Then I transform each print into interiors and personal accessories, and even occasionally into dressmaking fabric.

I absolutely love to share my craft with people – kids and adults- through printing and linocut workshops I host in Suffolk and around the UK. I came to my creative and art later in Iife and love to champion this art form that so accessible and infinitely creative. I’m never happier than when people are discovering the joy of art and exploring it in my workshops- the way a face lights up seeing how brilliantly a print came out and their hands created it.
