The Moth & The Moon.. I am inspired by the flora and fauna of the beautiful Suffolk Coast where I am lucky enough to live. Each pouch is carefully handmade and hand-printed using my original moth and moon linocut design. The print is based on my own sketches, transferred to Lino and carved. For each piece I hand print onto fabric, placing the moths differently each time. This means every print has its own unique character and slight variations that make each piece one of a kind.
These zipper pouches are perfect for storing makeup, art supplies, stationery, or everyday essentials. They are super useful for packing, or keeping things together in your handbag. The celestial moth and moon design have been inspired by our beautiful night skies, making it a lovely gift for nature lovers, print enthusiasts, or anyone drawn to mystical and cottage core aesthetics.
As a small independent maker, my pieces are made to order with care and attention to detail. When you purchase one of these pouches, you're supporting a handmade process—from carving the lino block to printing the fabric and sewing the final piece.

All Bags are fully lined. In the Medium size there is an option between printed cotton or a waterproof lining- make your choice when you order. Waterproof Lining is of course good for washbags; cotton lining is great for packing and project bags.

Lovely Lydia designs are rooted in the wildlife and landscape of the Suffolk Coast. The Hedgerow Collection reflects the joys of the fields and the wildness in their margins and the forests beyond. The Coastal Collection revels in the beasts and beauty of the sea and the places where the salt water and land collide. There are also whimsical pieces inspired by travels and abstract designs whose inspiration may come from anywhere!
Lovely Lydia prints using water-based fabric paints on natural fabrics as far as possible including cotton and linen. We do not use any animal products such as wool or leather. All materials are sourced from suppliers within the UK and where possible, sourced from local Suffolk suppliers. Our packaging is plastic-free and fully recyclable.
