Inspired by the English Country garden, from formal gardens of stately homes to the overflowing cottage garden. My favourite scent in the world is warm box hedging in the sunshine and this print pays homage to that.
Handprinted and handmade by me in my Suffolk Garden Workroom, the motif includes diamonds of “box hedging” each diamond filled with flowers, greenery and even a cheeky snail.
Two sizes are available :
Mini – perfect handbag sized
Medium –
The medium sized can be lined either with cotton lining (ideal for packing or project bags) or lined with waterproof lining (ideal for washbags or maybe small garden tools)

Lovely Lydia designs are rooted in the wildlife and landscape of the Suffolk Coast. The Hedgerow Collection reflects the joys of the fields and the wildness in their margins and the forests beyond. The Coastal Collection revels in the beasts and beauty of the sea and the places where the salt water and land collide. There are also whimsical pieces inspired by travels and abstract designs whose inspiration may come from anywhere!
Lovely Lydia prints using water-based fabric paints on natural fabrics as far as possible including cotton and linen. We do not use any animal products such as wool or leather. All materials are sourced from suppliers within the UK and where possible, sourced from local Suffolk suppliers. Our packaging is plastic-free and fully recyclable.
